Last week, shortly after chemo, I went for a walk at Bethells Beach in order to clear my head from cabin fever, and to just get some fresh air.

Is the vibrant colouring filtered at shooting, edited post-shooting or just plain natural talent?
I used a polarizing filter for the shooting, which goes a loooooong way to increasing vibrancy, particularly in the sky. I have really only done minor colour boosting as edits afterwards. If you have a DSLR, a polarizing filer is one of the best purchases you can make to improve outdoor photos especially.
I do have a DSLR and I will be making a trip to Photo Warehouse. Thanks for the advice!
