Chemo 21.0

This Post is a little later than usual as chemo #21 came and went almost a week ago now. Largely the delay is due to the fact that I am now officially a working man, and with such responsibilities comes working man hours. I.e. 8am till 10pm type shifts. Given how much I value sleep, things like writing a post become second priority.

Anyway, round 21 was pleasantly pleasant when compared to previous rounds. I’m not sure if it was the fresh South Island air that improved my bodies resilience or just random variation, but overall, I was less nauseous. Furthermore, the first day back at work, which was a 15 hour day was tolerated surprisingly well. I thought I would seriously struggle by the end of it, but it went pretty well.

All in all, if all chemo round were that well tolerated, chemo would be not such a bad thing! However, 21 rounds of experience tells me otherwise, so only time will tell what the next round will be like.

Till next time…
