Classroom Lessons

A friend of mine who teaches year 10 in Christchurch did a lesson on resilience, as a part of their study on change, loss and grief. As it turns out, they used me as a case study, and watched my interview on Good Morning last year. The kids then wrote letters of feed back to me after the study, which I have their permission to place here for your reading.

Its always encouraging to hear things like this in the midst of tough times.

I was gonna say the same thing about the smiley face one! Nothing like up-selling your letter with a bit of decoration 🙂
Awesome Jared -Im coming back to Auckland to work in November -might see you there.

Wow – what cool letters. All so true Jared – I guess we get ‘used to’ you having cancer….and it’s a reminder to keep encouraging you on this tough road. God is using you to touch so many lives – so cool to hear about the Easter Camp too. You are an inspiration – we love you, and do continue to bring you to God for renewed strength, hope and healing.
    Much love

Really good to read these young peoples’ letters. You made quite an impact. I’m very glad they got to hear and see you.
